Busy Day

On our way to the Children's Orchard, Christian fell asleep! Thus, Craig waited in the car with him while I searched for the right items to complete Christian's winter wardrobe. I along with Craig were hoping he would sleep for a little while since we were in for a long day of running errands! After finishing my shopping, it was onto the Green Valley Library.
This was Christian's first trip to the library! He liked the books, but loved the puzzles. As Craig searched for books, Christian and I sat at the table and completed every kids puzzle the library had! It was great to watch him put a piece in the right place then say I did it mama! By this time, we were all hungry. The fuel from our pancake breakfast was wearing off, so we were off to Panera Bread for some lunch.
Craig and I have been on a Panera Bread kick lately! I thinks it has something to do with a chill in the air now that we are entering the fall season, but regardless I love this time of year. There soups and sandwiches are wonderful. Our favorites are the creamy tomato and broccoli and cheddar. In addition, they serve the best tasting and most nutritious kids lunches around! After refueling, we were off to find Christian a Halloween costume.
As we entered the Halloween store, Christian loved seeing the ghosts and goblins. He kept saying mama and daddy look at the monsters! Needless to say, he was not scared. After a little searching, we found his costume. He is going to be a boxer. For some reason, this makes me think of all the times that my twin sister and I asked our parents for a set of boxing gloves. I can say that request fell on deaf ears! I now know why!
Although today was busy, it was still filled with family and fun! There is nothing better than that!

Kiddie Clothing

Christian's 1st water day at school. Look at those stylish cars trunks and matching crocs!
He loves playing with and wearing his daddy's hat.

ABC and 123

At school, Christian is learning something new everyday.
1. He likes to sing the alphabet song and he only confuses a few letters.
2. While going down the stairs at our home, he counts each one and gets to 10 w/o any problems.
3. He colors many pictures, but thinks every color is red which is my favorite. I am also running out of places to display his master pieces or relatives to give them too. If anybody has any creative ideas for storing or showcasing children's artwork then I am all ears.
4. He can say his name, but our last name is something different each time. Its because of that darn letter z.
5. The list goes on and on... He continues to amuse and amaze me each and every day!
Now, if he would only use his froggy potty on a more regular basis! This is a blog topic all on its own.

Recap

It has been a while since my last blog. This is starting to sound life confession.
I am not sure where to begin so here goes.
I do believe in miracles because on Christmas Eve Notre Dame finally broke the curse and won a bowl game! It was a good thing since Craig was losing hope! On the same day, Christian decided to get out of his crib. Needless to say, he is now in a toddler bed. Christmas day was nice, but little guy still does not know what to think about it. After Christmas, I was happy to put away the Christmas decorations especially the santa that sings jingle bell rock. Christian listened to this over and over again. I just hope that by next year the adapter does not mysteriously go missing.
Today, Christian decided to decorate his room. He drew a nice picture in red crayon on the wall. I was only able to get some of it off even with Christian's help! It could have been worse, it could have been markers! I hope everyone has a happy and healthy new year! xoxo
